Status: announced on the company timeline on Unitree’s Chinese “About” page. Unitree has not published a product page or technical data.

Unitree GD01 appears on Unitree’s official company timeline (Chinese “About” page), dated 12 May 2026, as the world’s first mass-produced manned mecha, a walking machine with a person on board. Unitree states there:

a mass of approx. 500 kg with a person on board;
switching between two-legged and four-legged forms.

Unitree has not published other data, such as battery, degrees of freedom, certification or availability in the EU, so we do not give any here.
