Tender documents — a glossary
What tender documents and requirements for robots mean: CE, statement of requirements, references, penalties, warranty.
The requirements below come from 2026 robot tender notices. This is not legal advice, and every procedure has its own terms of reference (SWZ).
- CE declaration of conformity
- The manufacturer's statement that the product meets EU requirements. Buyers often ask for it at acceptance.
- Statement of requirements (OPZ)
- The list of parameters the robot must meet. A bid usually has to confirm each one in Polish, naming the manufacturer and model.
- References / participation conditions
- The buyer may require earlier deliveries of a set value, e.g. two deliveries of at least PLN 100k each.
- Award criteria
- Usually price, sometimes also delivery time and warranty (e.g. price 60, delivery 30, warranty 10 points).
- Contractual penalties
- An amount per day of late delivery. It is worth checking before bidding.
- Warranty and service SLA
- Warranty period plus response and repair times. Unitree's manufacturer warranty varies by version (e.g. As2: 6 or 12 months).
